BATTS is the Barnhard Associates Trouble Ticket System. BATTS is a command-line oriented trouble-ticketing system for Unix systems with the following features:
User-configurable priorities, categories, and billing codes
Log entries with start times, end times, billing codes, and text associated with tickets
A full-featured e-mail interface for customers
BATTS is written in Perl, and uses MySQL for its back end. Use of the Perl DBI theoretically provides for portability to other databases, though no effort has yet been taken to test this theory. BATTS is Open-Source software, available under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL)
