Hi my name is Nelson Amaya, the owner and writer of this website. I work as a network administrator in a company based in Cambridge MA. As a network administrator in a couple of occasions I’ve been assigned the task to research and implement a help desk system, and the hardest part I found on both times was the research process. There are many help desk applications in the market, but there is little to none third party websites reviewing these applications, and the few reviews I found about some the applications were either written by the vendor or people with self interest on them, in other words they were biased. That’s why I started this website to provide a medium for people, who have experience with these applications to share that experience with other people looking for a help desk solution. Far too often people end-up buying software that does not fit their needs because all the information they had about the software was provided by the vendor or other people making commissions of it. Many of these help desk vendors won’t even provide a hands-on demo of their applications before buying it, so for some people is like a shot in the dark.
My reviews are written based on many criterions of an application like features, design, user friendliness, performance, and cost etc. and they are totally unbiased. My ultimate objective is to aggregate all these help desk applications in one place and people with experience with them can share that experience with us.
